Facilitation Support

Facilitation Support is especially helpful for individuals who are more commonly anxious in new experiences or would like additional support in managing control of their healing space during the ketamine infusion.

Capital Ketamine (CK) Facilitation Support centers on creating a safe space for your Ketamine session, where individuals feel supported enough to fully meet their experience as it unfolds. Our Facilitator is with you throughout your session. This includes careful attention to preparation, nervous system regulation, and moment-to-moment responsiveness during your altered state. Your CK Facilitator acts as an additional member of your support team (not replacing your dedicated in-room RN).

What to Expect

Capital Ketamine Facilitation sessions are 90 minutes long to align with your Ketamine infusion session. Sessions are generally broken into three sections:

This part lasts approximately 15 minutes and focuses on settling in and getting grounded before your infusion begins. Finding comfort before your session will help optimize your experience and center your mind on positivity and acceptance.

This part lasts approximately 45 minutes and corresponds with the timing of your infusion. During your infusion, your facilitator helps maintain a supportive environment so you can engage fully with your experience as it unfolds. This includes ongoing attention to nervous system regulation and responsive, moment-to-moment support throughout the altered state.

This part runs for approximately 30 minutes, focusing on reorienting as you return to the space and providing an opportunity to reflect on and share about your experience.

Our Facilitation Counselor

Kasey offers facilitation grounded in safety, attunement, and respect for the inner healer of each individual. Coming from her training as a psychedelic practitioner, as well as her background in psychology and cognitive neuroscience, she approaches facilitation as a practice of steady presence rather than direction or control.

Kasey is particularly attentive to how vulnerability, uncertainty, and intensity can arise, and she prioritizes emotional safety, consent, and grounding throughout the process. She offers reassurance, containment, and practical support when needed, without imposing interpretation or agenda. Her intention is to help individuals feel held, respected, and resourced as they navigate their own inner world.

FAQs

When should facilitation sessions be scheduled for a ketamine treatment?

We recommend confirming facilitation at least two days prior to your session, rather than booking the day of. This allows you to arrive with the right expectations and mindset, knowing someone will be present in the room. Planning ahead also ensures everything is in place well before treatment, rather than making last-minute adjustments.
